Panel World’s September issue highlights Timber Products Co.’s softwood plywood plant in White City, Ore., which is diversifying its panel line in order to adapt to changing markets. Also spotlighted is Boise Cascade Wood Products, a plant in Medford, Ore. that recently retrofitted two of the mill’s four veneer composer machines and saved old parts for two existing composers. The issue features Egger Group’s process of removal and replacement of three rotary dryers, a process that has inspired other energy and drying concepts.
